Area Sales Manager to cover the Thames Valley and Anglian Regions

Due to successfully securing a Southern based Water framework, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the Thames Valley and Anglian Regions

The Role

Duties include: To manage the current framework and promote all Hidrostal products and services within the specific area.  Maintain existing customer database as well as find new opportunities.  The applicant will be involved in the whole quoting process from pre-qualification, through to closing the order ensuring maximum margin.

This is a full time, permanent role based from home and reporting to the Sales Manager

The Person 

  • Knowledge of the Wastewater market, pumping stations and systems
  • Will have previous experience in a field based role
  • Will have a sound engineering background with good knowledge of centrifugal pumps
  • Must be comfortable to work alone
  • Experience in dealing in all aspects of a commercial quote
  • Must have good negotiation skills - Ability to close
  • A confident, proactive flexible and ambitious individual
  • A problem solver
  • Must have good time management skills, forward planning and strategies
  • Full product training will be provided, however, it would be an advantage to possess previous experience of the Hidrostal product.
