Environmental Policy

HIDROSTAL is committed to minimising the impact of its operations on the environment and preventing polutionthrough a programme of continual improvement, based on the principles described in BS EN ISO 14004.

HIDROSTAL specifically undertake the following: -

  1. To meet the requirements of all relevant legislation, regulation, directives, industry standards and other pertinent environmental requirements. Where none exists HIDROSTAL will set its own standards.
  2. Set Environmental Objectives that are Quantifiable and Achievable.
  3. Review and Monitor environmental aspects and performance in a planned and regular manner in order to promote a culture of continual improvement.
  4. Minimise waste from all operations.
  5. Promote recycling and the use of recycled materials, and minimise the consumption of material.
  6. Ensure that installation sub-contractors operate in accordance with the environmental policy of HIDROSTAL.
  7. Work with suppliers to minimise the effects of their activities upon the environment, by establishing an appropriate purchasing policy.
  8. Adopt energy conservation measures for new services and products and manage the energy consumption of its activities.
  9. Ensure that the visual amenity of its sites are safeguarded through consideration of the choice of type and location of temporary buildings and through consideration of the local environment and its inhabitants.
  10. Ensure that all personal have an awareness of environmental issues through appropriate training.
